SEC filings API

The filings endpoint returns the SEC EDGAR filing index for a ticker: form type (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Form 4, DEF 14A, S-1 and their amendments), filing date, EDGAR accession number and a link to the document on sec.gov. 8-K rows carry the item codes the filer selected, such as 2.02 for results of operations.

The index is read from SEC EDGAR and refreshed nightly, with 8-K and Form 4 arrivals picked up every 15 minutes during US weekdays. Financial statement values from the same 10-K and 10-Q filings are served by the fundamentals endpoints, and every computed surface covers US domestic filers; foreign private issuers filing 20-F or 40-F are excluded from them.
