Companies that stopped being listed

1,124 companies, each dated from the filing that ended its listing, with the figures it reported in its last years before that, as filed. A listing ending is not a company ending: a registrant often keeps filing afterwards, and in a reorganisation it may still exist today.

This is not every company that left the market. A company is listed here only when it filed before 2009 and those filings left enough of the headline table populated to be worth reading, and a last annual report filed mid-bankruptcy or mid-merger often does not. The rest keep their own pages and return to this list when the figures do.

The years are not evenly covered, and the thin ones are our record rather than the market’s. Each date here comes from the Form 25 or Form 15 that ended the listing, and those reach back only to 2009 and 2010, so earlier years hold far fewer companies than actually left. The record behind these pages is read from filings that predate machine-readable filings, so a company whose documents we could not parse to our verification bar keeps its page but is not listed.
